Picture it, Jersey 2020. The world was a hopeless place but two people were looking to find an N95 mask and love. As luck would have it, they found love and the mask was history.

Josh and Claudia met as so many couples do now, online. Josh made the first move by swiping right and soon enough Claudia swiped right and Matched. Here’s where it gets a little fuzzy because we’re not sure if Josh sent the first “Hey” or if Claudia did but they started to chat online and eventually Claudia got frustrated having to check an app and suggested to move the conversation to text. 😳😳😳 We know big move there 😁😁. Soon enough they were texting on a very regular basis and it was going well. Josh then decided to ask the big question, do you want to meet? Lucky for both of them Claudia said sure and they set a date and place and had their first date. As far as first dates go, they can both agree it went pretty well because it led to a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.

Eventually Josh and Claudia decided to expand their “bubble” over the summer and they started to meet each other’s friends and family. Meeting Claudia’s friends and family was a little easier and she would only say that because of location, location, location lol. Claudia’s friends and family are all mostly based in Jersey. Josh’s friends and family are spread out a little bit, especially his closest friends who he met at The University of Miami, aka THE U. Having friends and family all over has given Josh and Claudia a chance to travel and make many memories together.

One day in March 2022, Josh was getting a watch battery changed at a local jeweler and decided to take a look at engagement rings. There was one that caught his eyes and he decided it was the one. Now he just needed a plan to ask Claudia to marry him and without her knowing. For months he planned out the perfect spot and even made sure to have a photographer to capture what was going to be one of the happiest days of his life.

Fast forward to September 2022, on a warm Wednesday evening in Coconut Grove. Josh got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life…and Claudia said YES! They tied the knot on March 23rd 2023 in a private ceremony.

They are excited to celebrate with their closest friends and family exactly 2 years to the day that Josh asked Claudia to spend the rest of their lives together.
